From Murcia Airport to La Manga Club
Approximate driving time 20 minutes - 25kms/14 miles by car
On leaving Murcia (San Javier) airport at the main exit which joins the main road, TURN LEFT, signposted Cartagena. (Remember to drive on the RIGHT hand side of the road).
Continue to a roundabout, TURN RIGHT, under the flyover and take turning on RIGHT signposted CARTAGENA/ALICANTE. This leads to the A37 – direction CARTAGENA. Continue on the A37 for approximately 15 kilometres and then take junction 800 on to the MU312 toward La Manga. Join the MU312 via a slip road – take great care when joining the main road from the slip road and make sure you get into the correct lane for LA MANGA.
Continue along this road for approximately 11km, passing exits for La Union, Llana del Beal. You will eventually see two petrol stations (one on either side of the road) take the next exit RIGHT Salida 8 (junction 8) to Los Belones/La Manga Club Golf.Los Nietos/Portman (MU314). Follow signs for La Manga Club.
At the end of the exit slip road you come to a roundabout, take the first exit (turn right) continue up this road until you see the La Manga Club sign and fountains on both sides of the road. Just past the sign for the golf club house you will come to a crossroads. Turn left to go to the Hyatt Regency Hotel and into the resort and turn right to go to the Hyatt Las Lomas apartments. After a sharp right hand bend you will need to turn left at the security entrance.
Returning to San Javier Airport from La Manga Club
Note: San Javier (Murcia) airport is NOT in Murcia City but located on the Mar Menor coast.
Leave La Manga Club, past the statement fountains, up to roundabout. At second roundabout turn left, signposted Cartagena. Join dual carriageway.
Continue along this dual carriageway (MU312) – take turning on right onto the A37 signposted Alicante and Los Alcazares. Continue along the A37 following signs ‘aeropuerto’ which are clearly displayed all the way to the San Javier airport. Go past turning for Los Alcazares Norte. Take the next turning signposted San Javier and Aeropuerto.
From Alicante Airport to La Manga Club
Approximate driving time 1 hour - 120 kms/75 miles by car
By Motorway
On leaving the airport, turn left towards the E15 / A7 and follow the signs for Murcia. After about 23 kilometres the motorway divides. Take the right fork (junction 724) onto the A37 toll motorway towards Torrevieja and Cartagena. After approximately 76 kilometres, take junction 800 onto the MU-312, towards La Manga. Follow this road for 12 kilometres. As you pass two red petrol stations (one on either side of the road), take the next exit RIGHT Salida 8 (junction 8) to Los Belones and Portman. At the roundabout, turn right towards Portman and 'Campo de Golf'. Follow signs into La Manga Club.
Motorway tolls: € 5.00 in high season (June to September and Easter), € 2.80 the rest of the year. You can pay by credit card at the automatic booths.
By Coast
When leaving the airport head for the N-322 to Alicante and Cartagena. About 1 KM from the airport turn RIGHT onto the N-322 to SANTA POLA and CARTAGENA. Stay on this road for 90KM passing through the villages of: El Altet, Santa Pola, La Marina, Torrevieja, Campoamor, San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Los Alcazares, El Algar.
Just past the village of El Algar follow the sign to La Manga. Turn right and join the motorway for about 10KM until you see the signpost for Los Belones/ La Manga Club Golf / Los Nietos / Portman / Salida 13 ( Junction 13). At the end of the exit slip road you come to a roundabout, take the first exit (turn right) continue up this road until you see the La Manga Club sign and fountains on both sides of the road.
